... Here we go! ...
The perfect trio.
Most photographers often have Portrait Bucket List. Now it does not mean we do not enjoy all our Portrait Session. But admittedly we do have some sessions that are near and dear to our hearts.
I grew up playing video games with my mom and sister. I still remember the best Christmas when my sister and I received our very first Nintendo. It was the best day! It came with Super Mario World. Goodness. The hours we spent playing.
We would come home from school and my mom would be working on dinner. Homework would get done, dinner and finally we would get to play! Between the three of us ladies, we would switch off so that we all had turns, on occasions things would get heated, mostly because my mom was so good! What?! Yes!
No wonder this woman is my best pal!
So fast forward to a grown version of me and working on Set Designs I began to plan out my Mario Brothers set. And as luck would have it, the Cherry-on-top one of my favorite clients booked the session.
And could it get any better? … yes, it did. Because not only did I have the pleasure to photographing some of my favorite littles Mr. Mason, Mr. Aiden, and Mr. Evan but they brought their A-GAME!
I HAVE LEARNED TO LIVE IN EMBARRASSMENT. I CAN NOT HELP BUT MELT. By now Holly my beautiful sweet client and mamma to these little fellas is probably used to it. But sweet heavens I think I melted straight into an “oh my goodness” … and now am sitting on the floor gushing on the level of cuteness before my eyes. It was not pretty on my part but it sure was honest. These little fellas were so perfect in their Luigi, Mario, and dear goodness Yoshi costumes!
One-by-one they collected themselves and were just pure love to photograph. Being a boy’s mamma, I get what it is like to have buddies and add costumes well heaven help us, moms. But these little boys are such pros. They are kind, loving, tender, thoughtful, and wonderful to photograph.
I said to Aiden, “buddy can you believe your brother [Yoshi, Evan]”? He smiles with such a twinkle in his eye “yea he's cute!”
And we both look over at little Yoshi and as if he knew we were just talking about him he gives us the biggest cheesy smile. I mean, how easy is this?
... Mama Mia! ...
Holly, thank you so much, mamma, for letting me photograph yet again your beautiful little boys. Mason, Aiden, and Evan are one of my favorite little sweethearts and I could not thank you enough for allowing me into your world. As a boy mom myself I loved watching you with the boys, you are a perfect combination of strength, encouragement, and love.
Holly, you are a gift of a client to have. Thank you for your love and support. After our first session together, your turnaround and purchase two additional sessions for the following year not knowing the Set Design not knowing the details but out of faith that I would make sure to give you my best. With all my heart thank you for your faith in me.
I CAN NOT WAIT for all of this to be over and that we get to shoot your special Mommy & Me Session! Oh goodness, I just cannot wait!
Thank you once again for selecting me for such a special Portrait Session. You could have chosen from an overwhelming sea of incredibly talented Northwest Photographers, but you chose me, and I could not be more thankful.
I appreciate you so much. Be safe. Be well.
Sending love, virtual hugs, all the very best in health, warm cuddles & extra long naps!
