For Cake Smash and Milestone the booking Client always selected their theme. This may be a theme from my set design catalog or the client may come up with ANY theme their little heart can imagine! 

For theme minis, these are typically already setup and sold as they will be shot. 

For family portraits, clients may select their specific location or studio theme. Or the may select from specific theme sessions already setup such as beach, Volkswagen bus, Lupine field etc. 

I am based out of Tacoma, Washington and photograph through the great northwest from Olympia to Yakima.

With over 200+ Set Designs this is where we create some fun Studio Magic! Set designs are based on the client's request. Clients may select one of the many themes available and if I do not have it already we will work to make it happen. 

My studio is located in Lakewood, WA (by appointment only). In which I book fun portrait sessions throughout the year. And thus because it is by appointment only the address will only be given out to booked/confirmed clients. For internet safety, client safety, and my safety I will not give out/post this information.

Location Location Location! My photography journey of creating beautiful portraits began in the Golden State of California and I am now based out of the beautiful Pacific Northwest West. I photograph in various cities in Washington State ranging from Olympia to Yakima. In California, I photograph through the State. And Being a lover of travel, I am always open to destination photography; I have photographed outside the US in Germany, France, and Holland. 

With the beautiful Northwest as our backyard, we are lucky to have many on-location gorgeous places to photograph. I do have specific locations that I gravitate toward for their beauty and diversity however if you have your heart set on a certain place I would absolutely love to photograph you there.

Pricing among the photography community is priced differently based on each photographer and their legality/costs of doing business. My pricing includes my Cost of Doing Business (CODB) which includes the cost of running a business such as; licenses fees, taxes, insurance, equipment maintenance, studio equipment/sets, platform maintenance, photographer creative fee, education fee (training is important) and much more that it takes to run a legal sustainable business. My current collection pricing reflects my current rates based on all the above however as the cost of living rises and expenses increase my collection pricing is always subject to change at any time.

Your date is only secure once you have paid your invoice. If you have a split invoice, after your second invoice if it is not paid by the due date your session time will no longer be yours and it will be open to other families.

Your date and time are booked once you pay your invoice because at this point is when I know you are invested in your date and time. By doing so I will take the date and time off my calendar. This means that I will make all the appropriate accommodations needed to make your session the best experience possible. This part will require turning down additional work, booking location (if needed), designing a set, and buying any additional items we may need for your session, I will book and make accommodations for my personal childcare (for two littles) and prepay. And so when you purchase a collection and book a date and time it is nonrefundable, nontransferable, all sales are final, and NO REFUNDS OF ANY MONETARY EXCHANGE WILL EVER BE MADE.

Mini’s sessions and special Event Portrait sessions are priced accordingly to my CODB (Cost of Doing Business) and the ‘Marathon’ effect of photography benefit. These sessions are typically setup back to back and therefore allow for the same set design to be used for volume days. By having marathon mini days it allows Clients to experience the cost-benefit of a marathon day versus an exclusive date and time. 

My turnaround time is three weeks from day Client approves their final images. I strive to push to have your portraits sooner however my standard turnaround time is four weeks. Please keep this in mind when you are scheduling your session, especially during my most busy season such as fall; note that this turnaround will not be rushed due to the high volume of clients. If you will be in need of these images by a certain date for your holiday cards please book your date accordingly.

I do offer 'RUSH' delivery of final digital portraits. My standard turnaround time is four weeks. If the Client is in need of a 'RUSH' turnaround time frame which is typically half the time; a seven business days turnaround time from the date Client approves final images from their Gallery. If the Client wishes to 'Rush' their final portraits a 'RUSH' fee will apply, 'RUSH' work will only begin once the invoice had been paid. 

Why is there a 'RUSH' fee? Because by asking for images to be done sooner than what is expected this means that I will have to make accommodations outside of my already busy workflow. Because I work in the order of booked sessions I do not bump down any Clients to complete 'RUSH' sessions rather I open dates and times not scheduled to work and complete these 'RUSH' sessions requests. 

This is why it is very important for Clients to book their portrait session with enough time to allow for a full session completion turnaround time. 

***During Fall Season / Christmas Season 'RUSH' session may not be available due to the already high volume workflow***

I take great care in your beautiful portraits taken. Once our session has finished there is much that will take place. I will cull through your session and find the best for your Gallery, I will bring them into Photoshop and begin to soft edit them and make appropriate corrections, I will format them, export them, and create your personalized gallery. You will then select your final chosen portraits.  After which I will begin to personally hand edit every image I will deliver to you. I take great care to hand edit every portrait and create a beautiful final product for you to cherish for a lifetime. And so the reason why I have a three week turnaround time is because I take great care and pride in delivering the best portraits for each one of my families. A three week turnaround time is industry standard among detailed fine art portrait photographers.

My families that would like to use their Christmas portraits for yearly Christmas Cards will usually book their Christmas Session at least five weeks prior to the date you would like to deliver your Christmas Cards. For example, if you would like to send out your Christmas cards the first week of December you need to make sure to book your session and have it scheduled no later than the first week of November. 

Now if you are not utilizing your Christmas portraits for Christmas cards but rather only for Social Media Sharing, your Portrait Session should take place no later than the first week of December to have your Digital Portraits back to you the week of Christmas. 

A photography contract is an industry standard agreement between photographer and client. It is an agreement between both parties and is set to protect both photographer and client. I do not photograph any client without a sign photography contract. This is set in place as portraits are protected by copyright and are industry intellectual property. My photography contract was created in partnership with my attorney.

Yes. I completely understand the need for privacy and wish to respect everyone’s preferences. If this is you please make sure to let me know when you are booking your session. This will allow me to note it in your client profile so that I do not post or schedule to post your session.

Do note that I do charge an additional fee for this. Why? Being in an industry where sharing my portraits is my livelihood and let’s be honest this is how you found me and booked me, is why sharing your beautiful portraits on various platforms is how I stay in business. By you asking me to not use work that I create, to promote and continue to utilize on various platforms to stay in business, makes it so that I do not have these sessions to utilize for Marketing purposes. And so yes, I will honor your wishes not to share your images on any platform, however, yes I will add to invoice a Private Marketing fee to keep them as “no usage” portraits. 

My referral program includes any portrait session you would like to use your credit for up to the point of the cost of a session. Please note that there is no exchange of monetary value. The session cost will be invoiced and taxed. For example, your collection cost is 100+tax and you have two referral credits of $50 each. This means that you will be covered for the $100 of cost however you will still have the tax balance to pay.

A Digital Portrait Credit is a credit for one additional Digital Portrait. For example, if you sign up my Lovely Newsletter you will automatically receive one Digital Credit every time you book a collection. If your booking collection includes 10 Digital Portraits your collection will now include 11 Digital Portraits a portrait value of $50+ each.

Totally understand and no worries I promise to not be that business. You will hear from me no more than zero to four times in a month and during the busy season, you may hear from me up to four to six times a month. Promise not to be spammy and annoying or mishandle your trust.
