Would you believe it if I told you during our scheduled session together the weather had other plans? It surely did. On the day of our scheduled portrait session, we encounter, rain, wind, and even hail. Yikes. 

Although I do not control the weather even if I wish I could. Especially in the Pacific Northwest West where you blink and the weather changes, most clients completely understand. But in true transparency, some do not. I do my very best to select a weekend with as little rain projected as possible however we never really know what the weather will do until our start time during the winter months. 

These two little ladies had to wait, wait and wait. And were they rude? No. Were they upset? No. Were they mad? No. Were they snooty? No. THEY WERE THE MOST AMAZING UNDERSTANDING, KIND, LOVING, and so much stinkin FUN!  

Every once in a while, you get to meet people who just feel like old friends. Melissa was surely it. During our time together we chatted, smiled, laughed, and even had many warm mommy moments. 

Thank you, Melissa, for booking a portrait session with me this year. Your kind spirit and loving manner were wonderful to be around. You showed me such beautiful grace during a session that could have been crabby because of the weather but your kindness and loving way made the world of difference. I came home and spoke about you and your easy-loving way. You darling left a lasting impression. 

Little Miss Elle is such a lucky little girl to have a mommy like you. The two of you had smiles for days and beautifulness that radiated. I can not wait for our next session together and finally meeting little buddy.
